Job Description:

Whether you are interested in Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision, Spatial Data, Intelligent Systems, Healthcare, Robotics, or something that hasn’t been invented yet.

We aim to pair you up in teams made up of brilliant Scientists and Business leaders working on solving global problems, developing new products or doing Government contracting.  

Responsibilities  include:

  • Maintaining cost and schedule plans for assigned tasks while applying technical support concepts.
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex sensors, electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, software, and networked and/or wireless systems.
  • Resolving complex issues independently or in collaboration with others.
  • Reporting design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
  • Supporting other company functional areas such as administrative status meetings, CIP initiatives or IT procurement management.
  • Delivering  training to Stakeholders and colleagues on operations and maintenance of new  products
  • Independently writing  protocols, SOPs, technical reports

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, plus one to two years of relevant research experience OR  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or Electrical Engineering plus 3+ years of relevant industry experience. Software design, engineering, and development, including familiarity with modern software development practices and tools. Experience with object-oriented software development (e.g., C++, Java, Python). Senior positions require an Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering or science discipline with experience in applied research, research experience with X-ray, Gamma-ray, Spectrometry, Neutron, Ultrasound imaging methods or systems. Demonstrated ability to manifest research ideas as functional prototypes through software languages spanning from low-level languages to high-level/scripting languages. Demonstrated experience in developing supervised/unsupervised models incorporating structured/unstructured data with rigorous methodology and production implementation.

Additional Requirements:

  • Academic or job experiences in areas such as analog circuit design, digital communications, electromagnetic radiation (EMR) effects on electronics, radiation effects on electronics, grounding, micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS)
  • Familiarity with development of requirements for components and systems
  • Must have relevant experience working in a research and development laboratory environment.
  • Must be able to produce publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Ability to understand and abide by government safety rules and regulations.
  • Experience with network administration in a mixed environment (Linux, Windows, OSX) is a plus.
  • Must be eligible to obtain US Government security clearance
